Company > Split Financial Year
Split Financial Year option can be used to create a separate company from the first financial year of an existing company. After splitting the company, you also have the option to delete the financial year for which a separate company is created. Company created using this option will have name of the existing company with financial year from which it is created appended to it.
On selecting the Split Financial Year option, a Select Company for Splitting Financial Year window will appear. Given here is a screenshot of Select Company for Splitting Financial Year window.

In the Select Company for Splitting Financial Year window, a grid displaying Company Name, Code, Financial Year and Size appears. Select required company from the list. On selecting the Company, a window will appear asking for Super User Name and Password. On specifying valid Super User name and password, a Split Single Financial Year window appears displaying first & last financial year of the company. Select the financial year which is to be split. In the window, a checkbox, After splitting delete above financial year from the Company appears. On enabling this option the financial year for which separate company is created will be deleted from the company.
Click Split button in the window to split the financial year.
